The Town of Penetanguishene is a picturesque bilingual community at the southern tip of peaceful and beautiful Georgian Bay. Reminders of a 19th and 20th century heritage linger. Penetanguishene and area is fortunate to have a rich and colorful history that reflects its three founding cultures - Aboriginal, French and British.

The Town offers numerous amenities as well as an array of tourism attractions, recreational activities and local services.

  • Boating Season official opens May 1st, 2010.
  • Launch Ramp, Docks and Parking will re-open April 19th, 2010.
